Perhaps you're right about them being too busy. But at least a confirmation email saying they recieved my proposal would have been cool so at least I knew I was waiting for some type of answer

i wouldn't, just because you will have a certain percent of people who will just think you're pandering and will not vote for you because of that. as far as criticism of your last set...i think it looked a little too much like it was just some pictures taken on a trip ot the beach as opposed to a set.
