Sounds like a pretty foolproof plan. I will definitely keep that in mind. If I wasn't working I was going to go to the Between the Buried and Me cd-release show a few hours from me, and that would have been unbelievable.

I just got home from work and have vacation until Saturday the 24th. I'm heading up to eastern PA on Friday for my grandparents' 50th anniversary that weekend. After that I am pretty much going to wing it. I have friends/relatives in NYC so I plan on spending a few days there and just roaming around.

And unfortunately I missed them playing locally as well. They played the day before I left for NYC, but I figured since I've already seen them several times I'd get the rest before my long drive.

Not only am I new to SG, I'm new to being single. After a year and a half I get dumped out of the blue. I'm still not entirely sure why. It's a huge bummer, but I'll refrain from talking about it further at risk of it turning into a pity party.

Oddly enough, my Mom keeps telling me the same thing. That everything happens for a reason.
I know everything will be fine. I've been through the whole having-my-heart-broken routine before. I know time will heal, but that doesn't really make anything easier now.
