ballzone played its third show on monday, and in keeping with our policy, the lineup was different again. I am the only permanent member. we played at Ft. Reno in DC with Like Language and Medications. We resurrected an old idea of matt's: to dress as mormons (shortsleeve white shirt, dark pants, dark tie, bike helmets) because in DC they are always riding in pairs...

i love baltimore.
today i rode there on my bike and went to artscape, this giant outdoor art and music festival. several of my friends had pieces in the show, one i helped to work on ( a little bit )
I just kept thinking-this would never happen in DC- tens of thousands of people milling about the streets drinking, dancing and looking at art/...

video game music is good news. you're right!

sorry I didn't get to you before I take off. it would've been fun to rock out, but I haven't had the wherewithall to get it together.

had a bash at my house, with brOlympics, four bands,(Multiple Cats, HITS!, and White Flight) and lots of fireworks and of course beer.
our house beat the neighbors, winning the bike race and the immediately following drink-off.
ever tried to chug two tallboys right after riding 15 city miles in an hour? good times. pics included.

fuck yeah.
Richmond VA rules.
Commander and the Gurgles made its debut at Nanci Raygun, with three major pie graphs:
Bunnyrabbits
The Yes-Sirs
Hallelujah

best first show i have ever played.
the space, the people (an old friend of mine randomly appeared) , the food, the drink (two free pitchers of PBR!) the general atmosphere,
all battered.
looking forward to many more this summer before...

I used stones. It was the stones which killed me. You'd spend hours grinding them down and then a tiny piece of grit would destroy all of your work.
