okay, i hear you with that, BUT, i have two of em right now, one is a DELL Pentium 4, and one I built with an AMD althlon 64 FX, without replacing the mother board on my DELL, everything in BIOS has a DELL stamp on it, even some of the hardware does, when you get to the point where you have to let say put some firewire ports on the front of your chassis, even though you have the plug-ins to do so, it rejects your hardware because its not DELL I just hate how the whole preparatory thing gets in the way I in the littlest of ways, and asking for a way around this from DELL is like asking an asshole to sing, plus it really is less expensive building your own, the parts are BETTER by far and the parts themselves usually have a warrnty on them, for the 12 computers I built for ITC hear in KC, one OS was bad of the bat and one stick of ram went corrupt in less than a year, Ram usually has a lifetime warrinty if you buy the good stuff and everything else at least has a year to two. DELL, besides for sound and video cards usually has agrements with cop out brands such as NEC, not that NEC is bad, there is just so much better.

Um, I'm not 100% positive about this, but I almost am; there hasn't been any documented cases of live brown recluses in this area of California ever. A lot of people have thought they've seen them or been bitten by them, but none of them were actual violin spiders. Plus, if it was, wouldn't he still be in the hospital? Those things do severe nerve damage and a lot of times limb amputation is involved. Maybe it was, but I wouldn't bet on it. Sucks to be bitten by any kind of spider though. I'm glad he's better now Late....
