cursive was fucking awesome tonight. the last time i saw them play was probably 8 years ago. i still loved them back then, but the shows were always a little strange because tim kasher would always be so drunk. he was still drunk tonight, but much better at playing drunk if that makes sense. their set was an awesome mix of songs off I Am Gemini, Ugly Organ, Happy Hollow, and Domestica, and one tune of Burst and Bloom. they sounded fantastic and Kasher's voice was better than i ever remembered it being.

i finally bought the new record, and also finally got the back catalog (minus storms of early summer and such blinding stars for starving eyes) on vinyl. also an awesome limited (23/100) screened poster for the show.
