sister has to go back to work tomorrow so "baby person" aka my niece jillian is sleeping at my parents house in the room next to me. perfect night for thunder and lightening..
she's doing okay though, making some squeaks right now though. apparently she loves watching hockey on tv. i think its all the movement on the screen. maybe she secretly knows the blackhawks are 8 games away from hoisting the Cup.
Blackbird was amazing. really enjoyed it.
lunch tomorrow is at Xoco which is rick bayless' new street food joint. should be good. pretty much all family for the next few days then back to CO.
ready to be back at the stove, eating at blackbird and seeing/tasting what could be my future job really realined my focus.
