i love days off. and knowing that i have two more nights of work before i'm on vacation for a week makes things even better.

woke up around 9 or so to see everything covered in snow! It was snowing while i was at work last night but had stopped by the time i left. I knew it was snowing at the higher elevations but was really excited to see snow in town. I'd say we got about 2 inches in eagle-vail.

I got suited up and headed from Vail to Arapahoe Basin to do some riding. They got about 5 inches of new snow and it was snowing when i got there. The roads were a little hairy as i haven't put my snow tires on yet, but safe and sound got there to see a small lift line and lots of happy people.

Started out slow to get some turns in and then went faster with every run. just getting the feeling back i guess. Started popping some ollies here and there. they're more fun off Lover's Leap, but for now i'll take the side of the run kickers.


it was nice having a freshly sharpened and waxed deck to ride. i decided to save the new set up for when i come back from chicago.
