No, I'm not pre-judging you at all. I'm judging you based upon the several times I've seen you in the chat room (site testing and band plugging requests came before hellos pretty much universally), and based upon what I see in your profile.

And asnwering your questioning my involvement in the One Campaign, I helped staff booths at events in LA this spring as well as promote the site online. We managed to get over 1400 people to sign the declaration, and hopefully got many more thinking about it. A good friend of mine shot the footage used in the first commercial, as well as a few of the followups. The link has been there since the site went live, and will likely stay there at least through the IMF meeting in September.

I'll bite, though, what does your SG user name mean, if it's not simply the company id you plug, short for Fast Boy Entertainment. It's a clever catch-phrase, have you actually promoted some world-changing events or is that just hype?

My nick comes from the fossil of a trilobite I found on a glacier in northern Canada. Shortly after returning to New York, I needed to come up with a user name for some other site. Seeing the fossil on its stand beside my monitor, I changed the i to a y and thus was born the nick. I liked it, it stuck, and I've been using it since.

Wow, I had no idea Live 8 was organized from so far away. That's awesome, you should be proud, and definitely should make sure you put that credit on your web site, along with the other stuff. You really should consider it, or include some kind of mission statement so people don't think the tagline is just marketing bullshit.

This whole thing is hilarious, really, and all you've really done on your end is confirm my whole point. You're here as a walking corporate identity. When you popped into chat and asked everyone to do you a favor, that's why I refused. You asked me why, that's what I told you. You've then spent time over the last 24 hours arguiing the point and trying to convince me that you're not, and ultimately your answer is "what business of your is it anyways?" Brilliant.

I'm not sure what your line of questioning or arguing was supposed to accomplish - but if it was to provide me with an affirmation of my earlier judgment, and convince me to never consider visiting a site or clicking a link you recommend then congratulations on your success.
