Okay, I'm on a 90s alternative rock kick today. I'm going to post some videos that you may know and may not, but these are all the ones that I've been busy listening to over the past few hours.

and a couple of others...but I'm not going to bore you.

Late night blog update.

Something just occurred to me, I could be already done with college, under and post grad, if I just had the support of my parents. I have been accepted to some of the best fine arts schools in the country/world, and they have not supported me one bit in my career choice. How fucked up is that?

I guess I understand...

My mom didn't want to support me to take philosophy after high school. I ended up taking business program (HR) and flunked out. And I got to pay the debt myself. So, I say do what you want because in the end that's what counts. Not saying it's easy though.. smile

okay, I'm out of my depression funk from my grandmother's death.

Sorry if that last blog offended anyone. I didn't mean for it to.

Nothing new is really happening. I might have an art show up at the Chelsea Art District in NYC...but who knows. I'm not crossing my fingers, but we'll see.

I'm in a weird mood lately. I started off listening to 80's...

I know that it has been a long ass time since I've updated, but I've been busy and I figured that now is better then never to go ahead and update.

Well, I got a job finally, after two weeks after being laid off from Delta Gamma after the summer started. I'm happy about working again. Been there for about a month at my new...

okay...I think it is time to update this blog.

Tomorrow, I head down with my son Josh and my father to go see my grandmother, Juanita, for what I think may be the last time. As I stated in the last blog, she is not doing good and no one expects the best. So my Aunt Carla is holding a family get together in her...

Well, sitting back on a rainy Saturday afternoon, doing some work by writing parts of my book and sending some exhibition proposals off to galleries, all while listening to Neil Young. Today is just a lazy day.

However, my father just told me today that my grandmother has lung cancer in both of her lungs and that the doctor says that she is too old...

yeah...I'm tired. Nothing really new. The school year is over this Friday, so that means that work is done, but I might have a couple of prospects, including a couple of photography projects, including my Mobile Digital Studio, writing two how to books for Amherst media (lets all hope that one works) and other things...so lets just see what happens.

A long December and there's reason to believe
Maybe this year will be better than the last
I can't remember the last thing you said as you were leavin'
Now the days go by so fast

And it's one more day up in the canyons
And it's one more night in Hollywood
If you think that I could be forgiven... I wish you would

The...

Alright, I've had the chance to have this debate on the website OvationTV.com and their was a recent talk on their about who is an artist and who is not. They say that if you consider people who don't do their own work on the art that they slap their names on, then people like the four master artist of the Rin. period can't be...

So...after a couple of months of pondering this idea, I have applied for a grant through the Kansas Arts Commission to be able to buy a used motor home and turn it into a traveling photography studio. I think that if I can get everything worked out correctly, this time next year I'll be able to take my newly renovated RV on it's first trip...
