Here's a fun fact for you. By international law, All American and Irish whiskies must be designated with an the "e" in their name (Whiskey), since "whisky" is reserved exclusively for scotches. The only exception to this law is Maker's Mark, whose creator gained priviledges to drop the "e" to show his scottish heritage.

Since I'm feeling generous, American import law says that any canadian whiskey must be designated a blend.

I like whiskey. I haven't tried a lot of whisky.
