Is the sweetest I've tasted.
The taste is the taste of a dream...

You float through the room and I wade in your wake.
It's a waste...

I was in Seattle on 4/20 ... funny thing is, the stuff from the 91306 was better than anything I encountered in the NW. There is no place like home! smile

Weird how I have the back to back "Deadwood" entries in my journal, but oh well...I took a motorcycle ride to Santa Clarita today to visit the Melody Ranch...My writing partner and I were invited to go check out the set of "Deadwood"...Earlier in the season the show's creator, David Milch had invited us out to check things out...We took a tour town...Went into all...

That's pretty awesome. You know I used to live out there, right? Right?!?

How'd you get hooked up with Mr. Milch? Your other job? You might have told me this, but I'm stupid.

And I see you've been giving the boards a shot. You might be one of the few members since 02 with only 100 or so comments. At least those that haven't been lurking in the background...

Ahhh...Finally the season premiere of "Deadwood"...Truth be known I seldom watch television...For one thing there's not really too many shows worth tuning in for, but I do love me some "Deadwood"...I know, I know, it's basically a night time soap opera..."The Young & The Restless" with bullets, brothels, and an ass wagon full of "cock suckers", "mother fuckers", and "hoople heads"...But for the most part...

Of course this is a much better story when you hear it live, but for the sake of a current journal entry I'll recap how I nearly lost my mind tonight...

So I hop my usual bus from Santa Monica...a little faded, but I wouldn't say stoned...didn't feel like listening to the ole ipod so I decide to read a little...I break out the script...

I've got me a dilema...For some reason I'm tempted to reread a book, but for some reason I don't feel like I should...I mean there's like a gillion books that I'm always complaining about not having time to read...Rereading a book is way different that rewatching a movie...Far more commitment I'm thinking...I don't know....I just don't know...

bok

~(R)~
toothpickmoe:
I almost never re-read books. But I'm a black hole of hatred, so what are you gonna do? Huh? What are you gonna do, sucker?
toolgirl:
The only two books I've ever re-read are Choke and The Brothers Karamazov. Average length of time between reading - 3 years. wink
