It is fucking cold outside. Hot damn. And it's spitting tiny little mini-snowflakes. WEE!

Decorating the house for XMas. I've got a bug up my butt about it. I really need to be focusing on getting my papers done, but tiny lights and glass icicles and greenery and gold balls and pretty ribbons and cinnamon candles and cookies are much more on my mind.

Despite the fact that there are still three weeks 'til.

Everyone on my list is getting cookies. Crass commercialism not for me or mine. I think it's much more appropriate and thoughtful to feed your loved ones, especially something decadent and wonderful but still healthy (oh yeah, I make health(ier) food sweets).

Oh, and booze. haha. There's a gift exchange on my dad's side. I pretty much always get my person some booze. Booze is a good gift for family. haha.

Okay, gonna go read Feministing for the day and get some work done pre-class.

BTW, my thesis presentation went beautifully!
