Why is it that when one thing goes wrong EVERYTHING goes wrong?

h'okay beautiful, i have every answer to every question/demand you gave me concerning your hairs.
i gotta take my watch off for this one
i have a feeling this will be a long post.
Okay, so your hairs are being cut. I need to know if you have a regular stylist you enjoy or you'll be going to someone new. Either way, if you're going to someone new OR are looking for a way to reduce weight in your hair to enhance curl have BOTTOM of your hair point cut (don't get your layers point cut because this is putting in too much trust into a new hairdresser, if done to the book with pointcutting most stylists will ruin your layers, have those cut normally.. but when she/he is cutting your length, at the bottom and around your face.. POINTCUTTING is the way to go. if you feel like being really confident and snarky tell the hairstylist to pointcut approximately 1/2 and inch into your length with an extremely vertical angle. if not, just stick with pointcutting
)
Oh, and you're opting for long bangs
lovely. I so wish i could do them, i'm the queen of any long bang.. well.. goddess, so they say
anywho, if your stylist will, have your bangs flatironed and then drycut on an angle with heavy "smashing" smashing is very deep pointcutting where the scissors are held at only a SLIGHT angle different than the hairs themselves, this will not remove length, only create texture and make for amazing bangs. If that can't happen, just mention pointcutting and cut on an angle because you wish to wear them as a SIDE bang (don't say long bang because some stylists will just cut you striaght across long bangs, and i know that's not what you want. ugly bangs down in your eyes, i dun think so.) Another tip for cutting long bangs is to part your hair where you will be wearing it when you have it up, then lightly put it up with a clip (ask your stylist) and then pull down all the pieces you plan on having down. This ensures all necessary hairs will be cut for optimal happiness, none missed, none extra taken.
So, I know you didn't ask for help on those two things but i thought i would have my imput anyways, because you never know and it can't hurt to educate ♥
okay, i'/m hungry.. i need a snack, brb
mmm... butter pecan coffee and nutty noodles with carrots and sliced cucumber MMM...
anywho, back to the topic at hand..
the best curl enhanser i have ever encountered has been Matrix CurLife Shampoo and Conditioner.
There is also a lotion for this line, but i know the S&C work wonders on their own. For a styling aid: I know in the drugstore there is a mousse by L'oreal's Studio Line that is amazing, my friend with the best glassy, ringlety curls swore by it (until he cut his curls off).
Then for professional products pick up TIGI Bed Head UpTIght curl enhanser, my curly girls at work LOVE it!
Keeping color vibrant is a matter of shampooing every 2-3 days with cold to bordering on warm, cold water. When you need to restyle between shampoos only rince with cold water and condition. Also, using a good shine spray ROCKS for protecting your hair from sun fading, flatrion and curling iron damage, sealing your color in, and making it look 100% better than it does without shine spray/serum, trust me!. Matrix's NEW (like 2-3 weeks old) line called color.smart has this incredible Reflective Shine Spray and it's in packaging like this:
Then there is my ol'favourite, cannot live without this, makes my hair incredible, reccomend it to EVERYONE Texture Shine and Gloss Serum
the one in front is it
it's about palm tall in real life.
Another I love is Paul Mitchell's the Shine, but it can make your hair greasy and isn't as good as either of the two mentioned above. Don't buy a drugstore shine serum,. they're full of crap you don't want on your hairs- trust me.
Oh, and using a color friendly shampoo is awesome for keeping color as well- Matrix's CurLife is color-safe.
A really good conditioner is TIGI BedHead Moisture Maniac, it can double as a treatment when slathered on, saranwrapped to your head, blowdried for heat that opens your hairs up to allow new good things to be added and then slept on and washed out in the AM.
Another great re-constructor is by Joico and is called K-Pax. When used properly, once a week for two weeks and then every two weeks after that it will restore hair's lost protiens needed for elasticity, strength, shine, and overall health. It also smells like banana medicine
As for your desired color change.. Don't go black, it's a) too hard to get out b) harsh looking for your natural beauty c) nasty roots. Go for a semipermanant dark brown- level 4 or 3 when you go to a salon.. then have some highlights put in where you want the pinks and red, have them toned as platinum as possible then do the pink and red yourself at home. The best color you can purchase in my opinion is special effects.. put this on where you want it, saran wrap, heat, and sleep. rince with cold water and don't wash for two days. Should last about a month and 1/2.. same as your semi-perm color that was put in around your foils
Semi-perm color is awesome for clients like you that love change and have long hair.. it conditions, adds body, doesn't damage, the dark will last a pretty long time, no roots will show, and you can change it up in 2 months when you get bored OR decide to go perm if you love it that much
phew! i'm proud of myself for this, lol. that was some hard work and google-image-serachering.
It's ladies like you I love because I know I could be your hair queen.
good luck, Faye! You'll be beautiful no matter what and if you have any more questions, confusion, or concerns do not ever hesitate to ask me!
Also, if it might be cheaper for you I can send you the products if you pay for shipping and everything.. cause salons mark up a lot.. if not, i understand
just make a good hairdresser friend in your city. Go to a beauty school and bribe one of them
Just don't let them touch your hairs, lol. Too risky. hahaha

Sometimes waiting on other people can be the hardest thing in the world, especially if you have more important things on your mind than serving other peoples wants.
Don't let it bother you, so what if one night some ones steak was a bit better done than they wanted, you never know they might end up enjoying it more like that.
Hope you fell better now..
Kas xx
PS you are a wee stunner..

Well, when you move to Vancouver we'll make sure you never have to spend a night alone unless you want to.
And I definitely agree, turtles are amazing. Diving in Maui is one of my favourite things!
