Well, I finally finished "A Fan's Notes". I recommend it to anyone who wants to see inside the mind of a washed up, alcoholic, insane genius. I'm fascinated by the whole "thin line between insanity and genius" thing. Really really really well written book. I'm mad that it is done because I liked it so much. It is a beautiful day. I appreciate nice days a lot more now that I have my scooter. I can't wait until there is relatively warm weather at night. I took the slacker out for his birthday dinner last night on the scooter and it was pretty bad driving the speed limit in the wet, wet high 60's weather. It was nice while we weren't driving though.

T'wasn't as hot as expected---great bands, small marketplace...they had a joust this year, which i don't remember them having a couple of years ago---a typical games, over all.
We caught a Shunty match when we came in. Good times.
Drank a lot of Belhaven Twisted Thistle--and slept on the grass.
I figured you may have someone in mind.
Mi auntie had breast cancer, survived and then it came back, a few years later...she (like mi madre) went for hospice, and went peacefully at home.
