Some jellyfish aren't one creature - some, like the dangerous 'Portuguese Man O' War' [Physalia Physalis], are floating colonies of specialised cells, called, if memory serves, 'Zooids'. The floating whole is known as a 'Siphonophore'. Each area, such as gas-bag, tentacles, stinging cells, digestive system, is so integrated, that each cannot exist without the other, despite being basically, different individuals.
