I've been hibernating in the house since Thursday night sick as a dog with a cold puke I am prone to sickness when the weather drastically changes. So there has been no fun for me. I've only left the house twice to go to the store. Whooo hooo.

My presentations went well. I actually managed to turn someone on to Frank Zappa, which I REALLY wasnt expecting. The Nine Inch Nails presentation was cut short, the class ended, so I didnt get to play the really spiffy Trent/Bowie duet of Hurt. But I did play The Perfect Drug, which both horrified and fascinated the teacher.

As for the promotion stuff, Ill probably be up for it, but could you tell me a little bit more about it?

I have exercised everyday so far this week. I feel like I should get a reward!! tongue Yesterday I actually worked out twice even....I hate how it takes so long to get results with diet and exercise. I think it's a rip-off and it makes me mad

On to brighter things....the weather today was one of the reasons why I live in San Diego biggrin

i always check the "white/caucasian" box on all of those forms to cut down the confusion. they never seem to have one that says "mixed ethnicity" on any of the ones i've had to fill out. you'd think that they'd assume that a lot of people are mixed.

i loathe exercising. i know i should exercise to compensate for my love of food, but it's so hard to make myself do it. i don't believe in diets. i'm a total slut for good food that's bad for me.

trying to explain that i'm half japanese can sometimes be a total pain in the ass. most people don't see it (japanese people definitely don't see it), so they look confused. i think my big round head and my eyes should give it away. i think the fact that my last name is german sometimes causes more confusion, especially on those forms where you fill out your ethnicity but you can only check one box.

i really don't want to stand around in a court house all day waiting for my possible jury duty, but i figure that once i walk into the court house and they see me and i open my mouth, they won't really want me anyway. i'm hoping that by showing up i'll get off the hook for jury duty for a long ass time.

I can always justify this because i'm almost always on the edge of becoming completely nocturnal. Therefore there really is no late and subsequently no guilt about eating a full meal at three in the morning.

The greater Phoenix metropolitan area is not one of my favorite places. Once a friend and I got stuck in a traffic jam. All-the-while a large lighted sign repeatedly informed us that it was 102 degrees. I can stand the heat, were in a desert, and I can stand the traffic, were in a city. What bugged me, was that this happened at 2 AM.
The occasional horror story aside, its actually very nice out most nights.

If you guys play Tucson let me know where, and Ill come if I can.

thought i'd get back to you about the music thing. It kind of depends on the music but just guessing about which clubs are best i would say... probably Velvet Jones. good sound system medium place thats mainly about music. other than that there are only a few venues maybe Absinthe but it is really pretty large. if its smaller your looking for I have a friend that is the promoter for a little place on tuesdays that plays music that is , i hate this word, alternative for SB. Lot of mod, punk, etc...
Anyway, i don't need to bitch, I'm tired of that so I appreciate the offer but I hate being that guy, so i'll be bitter to myself thank you very much. Adios
