I agree with them. You are here for a major reason. Perhaps you can't keep living it the way you have been, but don't give up on it completely. Find new ways, find your purpose. It will be the hardest thing you've ever done, but also the most worthwhile and I think the world will benefit highly from it. That is not something one can say about everyone.
