Can you believe that crazy people everywhere were waiting for the world to end today??

Would that have meant that I would get to go home from work early? probably not, people would have still been shopping for TV's and computers while the damn sky was falling!

Today I celebrated my 20th week of pregnancy! Half way to October 24th. My belly is getting round,...

I had an absolutely terrible day today that finished with me crying in front of my boss! What a fucking nightmare...damn these squishy pregnancy hormones, they are out of control.

It all makes me want to find a new job; the shame is that I love my job, and I love my company.

I am scared that all this stress is not good for my...

Today is beautiful and I accomplished so many things...

- Finished painting the dresser for the baby's room; my old bedroom furniture painted black to match the crib we love.

- Washed my car!! My car looked like a Dalmatian, white with black spots, now it is clean...still need to vacuum the inside before I head out the Detroit Rock City.

- Cleaned out cedar...

Today it is almost 80 degrees in Pittsburgh...dumb people are wearing shorts and tshirts on their winterized pasty white skin...i hate people who rush it to be summer.

I think my new boss is afraid of me for some reason, for that matter, I think he's afraid of people in general. He's supposed to be the guy who is running around the store greeting customers...

Hey gang...
So much going on lately, it's hard to decide what to talk about.

In the SG world, my friend sometimes is back! Welcome back sweetie.

I've been working my ass off at work, assocaite reviews, spring resets and remodels and a relatively new boss to boot.

I told the other managers at work about my pregnancy, needless to say a group of 5...

Normally my town is a boring little sleepy town full of normal, blue collar, friendly, family oriented kinda folks...until last week.

I don't know if it's gone National yet, but a 24 year old woman that has been missing for the last 10 years was found! She was taken in at age 14 by a school security guard that offered to help her "run away"....

that's crazy! but why was the hairstylist arrested? wasn't she just doing what she was asked to do? or did she know the girl was kidnapped?

thanks! yeah it's an art noveau inspired piece. those pictures really don't do it justice. smile
rustgiraffe:
that is so disgusting! i don't know how someone could live with themself and not feel guilty.

it's 'inspired' by Alphonsa (sp?) Mucha. i love his style. i'll have to look up the guy you mentioned!

OK, I didn't have to wear a paper gown. HOORAY!

tongue biggrin
mslion:
Yay for no paper gown, and congrats on your pending addition biggrin
mslion:
Thanks much...I still can't believe my kitty kitty's gone, and I'm continually shocked when I realize I won't be tripping on him in the hallway or having to rearrange him on my bed so that there's room for me, too (it's amazing how one 8lb cat could take up more than half of a queen-sized bed shocked).

Boy, I miss him.

I just got back from a week in Detroit training for a job that I've held for almost a year...I didn't learn much more about my job that I didn't know already.

I have my first doctor's appointment on Friday and I'm taking the hubby. That's kind of a funny thing to have a gyne appointment with your significant other in the room. Obviously he...
