I'm so excited...I'm going to interview Juliette Lewis to write a preview for the show at the Wiltern with Courtney Love and the SG Burlesque. Her music is really good, from what I have heard so far...I'll post a link to my story when it runs...so who is going to go the the event?

I'm coloring my hair tonight...pink and black, I'm really excited.

I want school to be done so I can go to the beach over in Santa Monica and just lounge, but thats not happening for two months.

I just ate some kick ass clam chowder.

My computer is dying a slow painful death. I won't even be able to sell it as a whole I'm going to have to hawk it for parts. Oh, well, thats what I get for buying a computer that runs on Windows ME. Next I want a MAC powerbook I think.

Primate evolution: Quite interesting ! I am more into cultural anthropology (esp. of complex societies), but I read some materials on evolution and, especially, pre-history, on which I took a course lectured by an archeologist that is my friend since then (He is a specialist on ceramic materials. In Brazil, where we are from, there is a lot of pottery in sites from colonial times and indigenous populations.)

ahh i wish you would have gone to the show love next time i'll let you know before hand. i didn't know about the frisk until that show and i was really impressed. the crowd HATED them. they boo-ed the whole time. they played amazing, the kids just weren't into them. i hate kids who discover punk and then they feel they're more punk than everyone. these 12 year old kids came into my work and saw my hawk and said 'i remember when i went through my punk phase' i seriously had to hold myself back from strangling them. ahhh you like blink 182. you have to come to my next blink 182 convention. haha. it will be held in this random store with this cute guy in la. i have 4 years till i'm done with school mad but then i'm done! have fun on spring break. it's almost here! xo

Hey listen.. DO NOT give up. I saw your pictures and my first thoughts were, exactly, this (before your latest journal entry):

"Damn, this is a shame, because I think she's perfect for the site but the lighting and grainy camera are going to kill her app. I hope they have the sense to tell her to re-shoot under better conditions!"

And apparently they just hit ya with a rejected. Seriously. I don't say that about a lot of the hopeful sets (in fact some of them that have tried over and over I feel bad for because, not to be mean, they do -NOT- have the right look) but definitely, you need to get yourself another triggerman on the camera and try again. smile

PS: If you computer ever doesn't work, feel free to shoot me a question. If I don't know the answer, I might know someone who does. I might not, too, but a lot of the time I do. heh
