Hearing about the latest London bombings just gets me
One of the stations is one that I used to use daily when I stayed in London for over a month, the one at Shepherd's Bush.
Let innocent people be already.

If you...
(1)...owned a restaurant, what kind of food would you serve?
Probably a wide range, some healthy stuff, some very way oh my goodness NO! bad for you stuff, and cuisine in between. My favorite is sushi, so definitely some of that as well, perhaps some Greek, Indian, Mexican, Italian, and other versions of Mediterranean.

Thank you.
As for 1 - Either a really cool, natural, quirky little sandwich shop, or a Vietnamese restaurant.

Weekend recap.
You NEED to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Do whatever it takes, do it asap, it's one movie you must NOT miss on the big screen. The whole thing is funny and twisted and wonderful.

You can also drag her.....
Ack, mutherfucking shit.
The color of the wall turned out to be my friends list color, which is most assuredly NOT what I was going for. However, I will remedy that this evening with a lovely and deeply wonderful shade of real actual purple, not lavender.
There's a reason for the painting madness, and it's because lovely...

My Sunday is about to consist of hopping in the Bitch Basket (my friend's white convertible Cabrio) and heading to downtown San Diego for $7 all you can drink mimosas. Hope you are having a fabulous Sunday.
I've got some painting to do tonight when I get home.
Purple, I think the living room will be purple, adding yet MORE color to a place that already has teal, orange, and silver, in other rooms, respectively.
What is your favorite website for decor, painting, whatnot? Any favorite tips that you'd care to share?

I really love a store called Rejuvenation
They have amazing lighting, handles, switches, etc.. They aren't cheap, but they have great quality
They even seperate things by period for you.
Since my house is 1920, I want to be somewhat era correct and they were really helpful

I'm afraid that if you look at a thing long enough, it loses all of its meaning. - Andy Warhol
I love this quote, as I tend to overanalyze everything. I used to think that if I had a million acquaintances, that my "essence" would be diluted and that I couldn't get it back, that somehow my viewpoints wouldn't be as meaningful to me anymore....

As Trilo said...We'll all be around, and should get together
wyatt:
Your viewpoint wouldn't become diluted as much as it would become commonplace in your social circle. You would be shaping your world in your image. As your world becomes more as you would have it be, you become more mainstream and less outcast. Then you have to face the question: Am I the way I am because I insist upon being myself despite being different, or am I the way I am because I like being different, even if I have to do thingsI wouldn't choose otherwise. Assuming you like being you, then you would be making your world a more comfortable and comforting place by surrounding yourself with people who share your viewpoints.
Warhol's quote applies best to objects. It's like if you say a word over and over, it becomes sound instead of meaning. Coffee. Coffee Coffeee. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee Coffeee. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee Coffeee. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee Coffeee. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee Coffeee. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee Coffeee. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee Coffeee. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee Coffeee. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee Coffeee. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee Coffeee. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee Coffeee. Coffee.
You start pondering why those sounds relate to that luscious flavor and warmth. Why not Smurl or Zimmmmm? They'd make better words for a sensual hot beverage.
Sorry, you caught me too early in the AM for philosophical questions

I want sushi.
I want to go to sleep.

Sorry you feel icky, the knowledge that so many malevolent assholes share this planet with us can do that to a compassionate person.

This week's Free Will Astrology horoscope for Gemini:
A young goth woman was weaving her bicycle through heavy traffic. She was talking on a cell phone with her left hand and smoking a cigarette with her right. Watching from my Honda, I marveled at how well she maneuvered without the guiding influence of her hands on the handlebars. I stopped next to her at a...

Hmmm... Is it for a guy or a girl? What about a gift certificate for a massage, a fancy bottle of wine, or if you want to be silly you could have a star named after them... Hook up the details and I'll come up with something more feasible...
The weekend was great, tiring at times, but great nevertheless. I'm glad that I have 2 lovely kitties to be there for me at home.
It's good that there are still people out there worth knowing, worth getting to know, especially. I'd been closed minded for a long while to certain regions in Southern California, not that I am a Hollywood snob, there just didn't...

Now is the time for you to be making your own mistakes? Does this mean you've been making other people's mistakes, or you've been having other people make mistakes for you?
Take care...

Little by little one walks far.
I'm prepared to walk as far as I need to this time, and I did something good for myself last night to help realize a future goal, continuing the process, anyhow.
I also quit smoking again. Djarum Blacks and I have a peculiar relationship...

The New York heat really got to me, big time. It's soooo humid which was the kicker. I was drenched in my own sweat just by walking a few blocks.
I guess LA has heated up since I visited? It was warm, but not at all unbearable...
