A little spice for the life?
I just purchased a domain name and I'ma gonna build me a web site. What's the site going to be about? I don't know yet, we'll see. I'm hopefully gonna start working on it this weekend. My html skills or lack thereof will need to be addressed, but hey sometimes the best way to learn is to jump in...

hmmmm, interesting ~ your own universe. enjoy!
When each day begins to feel like the others, when every night turns into routine, when every morning begins to turn into a struggle, what do you do?
Sometimes I wish daily life didn't have to happen everyday.
I hear the song "Is that all there is" (by Peggy Lee I think), and that question echoes in my mind.
A new t-shirt doesn't cut it....

I don't think he even realizes he's being hypocritical. I have the strangest feeling he's convinced himself that this is actually the way it happened. He's a bit...odd...well, I think he might have bipolar disorder, or something. He sometimes seems to get ideas in his head for no reason, and hold to them even in the face of a total lack of evidence...
I'm not sure what I've learned from this, except that I shouldn't try to hold onto a friendship with someone whom I know will not approve of me being me...which is something I should have known already.
As for you, young man...I recommend trying to meet some SG peeps in person. I did, a little while ago, and it was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. I have all these new friends with whom I have much in common, and it's wonderful discovering them. You should try to meet some SGUNY people!

extradordinary would be nice ~ hopefully it will happen for you soon.
weekend over, back to work... blah!
I feel like such a scatterbrain right now. I have dozens of things on my mind, and not enough time to give to each of them. Does this ever happen to you?
(In cheesy game show announcer's voice) It's time once again for random babble!

So I always have a song, a smell, a taste, a laugh, a color, a look, basically an everything that reminds me of people I know or even knew.
Have you ever heard of a condition called "synesthesia?" It's when a person's senses are...mixed up in each other. Like, a smell might trigger a sound or color, or a sound might trigger a taste or something....for these people, all their senses are tied up in each other like that. (I hope that description makes sense...) Well, I've heard a theory that all people are synesthetic to some degree, and that perhaps at one point in our evolution, we were all strongly synesthetic but "grew out of it." And that heritage is why you might describe the taste of cheddar cheese as "sharp," which is of course a tactile sensation rather than a taste. Or how grass smells green, etc. I also think this has a lot to do with the way we all tend to associate sensory input with memories. There are some perfumes which I haven't worn since high school but to this day, if I smell one of them, I get this overwhelming nostalgia. It's intriguing.

I sit around pondering the future... while I'm missing out on the present. Then I revel in the moment, and move forward with blinders on. Where is the balance? Is there balance?
Does it mean that if you work towards the future that you are sacrificing the present or vice versa? I always think in extremes... that's the problem I always had with school: not...

The world might be a safer place for animals, yeah. But not for people! I was all about saving the cat at my own expense. Hehehe.
I've been feeling a bit sluggish and insignificant lately. I go through one of these moods every so often. It's simply proof positive that I am not where I want to be in my life... for now.
Often when I am angry, sad, or feeling any percevied negative emotion I turn to my pen or my keyboard to help me through. I'll type or write...

not everything, but enough to keep going.
that is a cool idea ... just the one word from each line ... the idea comes across, but the specificity remains mysterious.
now, the question becomes, why concerned about sharing your words?

Been working on a mixtape for what seems like a month, but has only been a week. There is always a timeframe with mixtapes, meaning that if you don't finish it quickly, you begin to lose your desire to even create it. That's how I usually feel, but this one is different. This one is important. This tape sums up how I've felt for many...

Okay. Good answers.

Nah, I haven't seen that movie, but it sounds like something I would like. I'll have to put it on my list of things to rent someday.
As far as I recall, I didn't read/watch anything which would explain that dream. It just came to me. Sometimes I can tell where my dreams came from, but not this one. Scary.
I've found that too, about getting just to the point of getting the answers or the power, or whatever...and then being interrupted. Maybe we're just not supposed to get all the answers all at once. Maybe it's too much for us to handle, so we have to get them piece by piece, learning slowly.

For the first time in many moons I spent a lot of time around people this weekend. I must confess that I am a very intimate person. I like groups of 4 or 5 people or fewer. Anything more than that makes me feel invisible and uncomfortable. I suppose that's the leo in me begging for attention.

that was awesome! one of my favourite things to do is people watch. i could sit and do it for hours. its one of my favourite things about toronto, there's so much diversity. i love watching body language and how expressive it is and people don't even realize it.
freshly washed anything is amazing... hair or skin.
so you like mullets?
i used to work in a music store in brantford (which i think is the mullet capital of southern ontario) and i'd always get a little shiver up my spine seeing a dad, a mom and their two kids come into the store all with matching mullets.
oh baby. shorty-longbacks 4 life.

All work and no play makes Eddie a dull boy.
I'm smiling because I have so much to say, but my fingers don't feel like talking right now... does this ever happen to you?
Then sometimes my fingers are alive and they click click click away, but I have absolutely nothing to say.
Life is funny that...

yes - i actually think it is an improvement over the original, and that is not to say that the whole albums is, although i do really like that version of "the walk" too.

Yeah I'm in a bit of a slump. The past few months have been weird and busy, then I had to come back home, which is kind of normal to do a whole lot of nothing. I just have to think it's temporary, and enjoy the videogames and lazy time for now.
No work is boring, and too much is not good, where is the middle, I haven't found it yet.

I often wish I had more time to listen to all the music, and see all the movies, and read all the books I want to.
Even if I quit my job and gave myself that extra 40-50 hours a week, I'd never be able to do it.
Such is life I guess... you're always playing catch-up. There's always someone hipper, smarter, cooler, richer, better...
