The trip down on one of Virgins' Pendalino train was lovely. Two hours from Stockport to Manchester and the journey was as smooth as glass.

I'm ok. Just coming to the end of a nice fat week off work which I haven't done very much with. Probably give my liver, lungs and kidneys the weekend off, they've been working very hard recently. Too bad about Tara, but there comes a time when you have to cut your losses - basically I get the impression that the idea of a relationship stresses her out too much. It's not a reflection on you.
