Loooooong Comicon weekend. I had fun though. I saw James Marsters on Saturday. Which was the main reason why I went anyway lol I saw Iron Man 2 yesterday with DarkRam. Just in case you haven't seen Iron Man 2 yet:
This whole job search thing is irritating. I'm applying every where that I can think of and have gotten no responses from anyone. John isn't having much luck at the moment either. He's had 2 interviews with one company but no other call back. The chances of one of us having a job by the end of May is looking extemely bleak.
I went through the same thing 8 yrs ago. I was unemployed for a full year. Out of 100 resumes in 6 month period, I had two call backs. After my unemployment ran out, I had to move out of my apartment, and my car went in for repo. I finally broke my pride and applied at Wal-Mart. Been there almost 7 years. I still don't make nearly what I used to, but it pays the bills.
I do come here bearing some good news though. Now lets just hope it pans out. John submitted his newly redone resume to a company that works alongside Avnet (he would be doing the flipside of his old job basically). the show all jobs public and status will show jobs that are only open to veterans and former federal employees too. So there are more jobs open to veterans then there are to the public.

My grandma is now in Tucson. Mom said that they caught the heart attack in time so it wasn't big but they are calling it a heart attack because the enzyme that is present in heart attacks was released. Right now they are prepping her for an andiogram (double checking her kidneys) to see why she had the heart attack (blockage, leaky things, etc).
My mom called me earlier today. She told me that my grandma wasn't feeling too well. My mom took her to the hospital. Apparently my grandma had a heart attack.
