The coolest thing happened today, we did this charades thing in speech class. We had to act out emotions at random that were picked by the teacher. I got stupid ones like empathy, apathy, and defensive. This may sound easy, but try it with some friends, it's not.

The speech was a "communication portfolio presentation". Basically, it was an informative speech about what I learned in the class. 
But I kicked serious ass!
Persuasive speech? Hmmmm... I would say it's best to pick a topic that is either a) very funny or b) important. I know what sorts of things I think are really important for students my age, but what you think is important is another matter entirely.
