Yeah so, the call went out. A kind and simple request. For zombie stories. I forget how many people I asked. It was a lot though.
And not one Zombie story was forthcoming.
What a shame.
In other news, I've been battling with my computer for, like 3 days. Yeah. I was all set to tell you about my subterranean adventures...

PS: You might want to take the Peril off your "5 things I can't live without" list. Since it seems to be killing you

You simply asked the wrong people. It happens.

mrstitches:
What do you mean "zombie stories?" Do you want zombie movies? Or books with zombies in them? Or do you wan't me to tell you a story with zombies in it?
mrstitches:
Sorry, I have no zombie stories, or the effort to come up with one. Maybe later.
West Coast relocation: Day 1
I'm noticing a pattern.
About a month ago I came out here to check the place out, maybe help orient myself a bit before I took the plunge and uprooted myself from the East Coast. The weather was alright for, umm..2 days, and then it rained for the entire rest of the time I was here. I laughed it off,...

Good luck on the lesser coast.
Good luck on the lesser coast.
billenium:
Dude. You don't travel well do you? Or at least you've had bad luck with the past couple of trips. Talk to you soon
Alright y'all
Here I go.
Today is the big day.
My plane leaves at 4:00pm East Coast time, arrives at San Jose International Airport at 7:27pm West Coast time. The transplant is only hours away. I'm leaving my home of over 2 decades, my family, my friends, and my cats.
And how am I feeling?
Imagine for a second that you're sitting at a table...

SAAAAAAAAAAKEEEEEEEE BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMB!
Holy fuck, I'm drunk. I've gone and done it. Oh yeah, and seeing that god damn picture of Flux the Punk Rock Cheerleader has finally made my brain erupt out of the top of my skull in a cartoonish jet of steam, accompanied by that hilarious fog horn noise.
Things were going very well, and then, my friends...

Wasabi was eaten and the pillars of the earth shook with its fury! CoreofSelf is now unto a God to the Nipponese! Fear him! FEAR HIM!!!
Its not really until the lady next to me starts talking that I really start getting nervous. Earlier on in the ring of speakers, I could still convince myself that I wasn't really here. Then gradually, I accepted that yes I was here, but no, I didn't have a problem. But then, as I look directly to my left, at "Leslie M", and hear how...

hahaha. that's a crazy story. you're a very interesting person. on our adventure, do you mind if i wear black latex instead of a special suit? i think we should go for a matrix/underworld kind of thing.
tastysoup:
no by interesting i meant intelligent and creative.
A gradually shifting Core

I better just come to grips over here. I just plain don't want to do anything anymore. When someone asks me to do anything I feel myself getting irked. What is that exactly? Stress? Whenever I have to do a god damn thing these days I get really aggravated. And I have no idea why. I'm sure I'll figure it...

i like wonderful rainbow alot more. mostly because its more melodic and less feedback/ noise based, and the songs are a bit more structured.
billenium:
Thanks. I figured you'd like that one. Actually I have to admit that I think that was a joint effort between me and Nora. Of course since I can't remember anything ever, I don't know which one of us pulled the trigger. So I'm just going to take credit for it. It seems so fucking obvious though, doesn't it? How did we get through 4 years of high school without thinking of that?

Alright, so I did have an insane update for you today, but I'm too tired to give it any semblance of coherency.
So instead, contemplate "New Millenium Cyanide Christ" by Meshuggah:
I'm a carnal, organic anagram,
human flesh instead of written letters
I rearrange my pathetic tissue
I incise I replace
I'm reborn
I eradicate the fake, prepresent me
elevate me to a higher human...

Holy fuck.
I think my body is going to hire a hitman to kill me in retalliation for the wanton abuse I've inflicted on it over the course of this weekend.
Soooooo many stories I have to tell you, my SG compatriots. No energy with which to tell them.
Ugh.

haha yeah actually i have some stuff by both of those bands, although, embarassingly enough, i have to say i can't remember what burnt by the sun sounds like, as they are buried in my immense hardcore library. wow, that made it sound like i'm totally hxc. i'm not, i just like hardcore and had a really good connection last year.
oh, and check out our local boys done good, norma jean, as well as evergreen terrace for some good metalcore type stuff.
