Happy Friday the thirteenth and Happy Valentines day. I'm gonna get my ass kicked at work this weekend. Three day weekend, valentines day and a couple of conventions. The books look like my worst nightmare. But I'm not new to the game, I'm true to the game. love

It took us forever to get set, but once we did it was easy. We didn't have all our prep done until five minutes before the first table. I was selling orders that the chef had done up as a demo for the presentation. Did you do a special menu or your regular menu with some specials? If it was a special menu, post it so I can steal your ideas. Sort of a show me yours and I'll show you mine thing.

Our CD player broke at work today so we're stuck listening to bad radio. Ever since I got satellite radio, which now has a 24 hr a day 7 days a week commercial free punk/ska/industrial station(that plays way too much Bad Religion), I am very intolerant of crappy commercial radio. Yeah, I got it rough. Boredom is the reason. shocked

Reminds me of when my brother and I figured out the main difference between us: he doesn't care what kind of job it is so long as there's good money in it; me, I almost don't care what kind of money they're offering, I gotta love the work...so he's happy being a salesman and he does it with a definite level of integrity. I'm liking my part time job alot more than my regular job this week. Maybe that's because I only do it two hours a week! I wonder if I would like teaching yoga so much if I were doing it 50 hours a week like my real job. surreal

Hey! So sorry to hear the tantra workshop was a bust. It's too bad. It's even worse when you run into someone like that who is being so negative. I know how you must have felt. I've been there myself. But the thing with John Friend should totally rock. I'm so jealous.

I think I told you my favorite yoga teacher left for Arizona. Tonight was my first class without her. The replacement teacher is really good, but I really miss Gia. It's hard getting used to someone elses style.

I've fallen into a rut of lazy since before christmas. I have only been going to yoga about once a week. I better get my ass moving since I'm probably gonna get it kicked this weekend and I have to start teaching next week.

I know what you mean about being in a fuunk. I am slowly climbing out of mine from my 2 weeks of vacation around Christmas. I think that time off and the weather has contributed to my lethargy and sickness. I wish I had a good motivator like teaching yoga or even practicing yoga to help me along.
