just back from an evening walk up the hill... where there is a new curry house ... and then a walk back... not sure quite where thet fits in with exercise? Food was nice though! And as it's new and the first proper sit down restaurant to open within walking distance it was quite exciting as well!!

My brother and both parents all passed in this millenium. I was not there near or at the end for any of them. It truly was beyond my control, but I am still working through the guilt and shame. I so wish that I had been able to do and to be more like you.

I got my wish - my allergies are gone! The weather here has been so awful, cold and rainy that it washed all of the pollen right out of the air.
Right now, I'd rather have the sunshine back - and I'd be willing to put up with a few sneezes!

i'm getting ready to ride into london back to work tomorrow.... i'm still getting used to being on the bike for long trips again and sorting out how to carry all my weeks clothes and gubbins...
It's fun but i am hoping that it's not raining tomorrow! That's NOT teh way i want to get to work in the morning!

so ok the hotel room might be wonderful and chintzy.... but it's a "smoking allowed room" and they try to get rid of the smell with the most bloody awful airfreshner! It's horrible! Anybody got any stale cigarette smoke i can have to take the smell away

I'm having a hell of a time in the cab at the moment. It seems every customer I approach is just finishing off their fag so they're dragging on it like their life depends on it and then they get straight into the car absolutely stinking and breathing it all over me. I wouldn't mind but I was one of those people up until 2 years ago - a good 40-a-day'er and now the smell really gets to me. I hate it but yet I love it all at the same time. It's torture!!
