And... at first I was a bit confused, then I realized "oh, we're in a tunnel..." and when we came to the end... (it was actually rather exciting)

Bugs My big bug experience was in Florida. I was out for a run while visiting my parents (somewhere back near the dawn of time) when something struck me in the forehead. I though that someone had thrown something at me, but when I stopped and looked around, no one was there.
Except, there on the ground was the biggest bug I've ever seen. It was a Palmetto Bug, or American Cockroach, and the thing was (I swear...) over 15 cm long! I looked at it, it looked and me and then it spread its wings and flew away. I was a bit freaked out. I'd never seen one before
Facebook... I guess that I really should get with the program...

well i have suddenly fallen "out" of work for a bit... hopefully just a week or so, time will tell.... but it does mean i have a few days now to catch up with "real" life for a while... and hopefully time to post some more pics and to doa bit more art....

I really appreciate your comment. I totally understand and completely agree with what you said. It's something that I've always felt. There is a power there, above and beyond the measurable physical forces that are unleashed. You captured the essence of it remarkably well.
If you have the time and if you are abe to find the photos of which you spoke I would immensely enjpy seeing some of them. A film clip, of course, would be wonderful as well.

I love the films Night Watch and Day Watch. I hope that you are planning to check out the books by Sergei Lukyanenko - I thought that they were very enjoyable. Based on your comment the other day, I think that you may like them as well. The two films are based mainly on the first book in the series... with several changes, of course. This is definitely one instance where you are probably much better off seeing the films first and then reading the books second.
I respect your taste and appreciate the recommendation - I'll be checking out Alastair Grey.
