So I'd have to say that GWAR put on one of the most entertaing shows I've seen in a long time. "Sounds" today was awesome I got to see some bands I've never seen and bands I've seen multiple times. But, boy it was a long day, I didn't realize that I was there for almost twelve hours. It was totally worth it though, I...

Well, this is it, the countdown until the end of the world... not really.
I'm just excited to see the show tomorrow... what show you say? The sounds of the underground of course. Lets go down the list this will be the third time I'll have seen Inflames, the third time for Trivium and the third time for As I Lay Dying. Although I'm particulary...

Today was action packed, my band and I were back in the "studio" again. We had some downtime to record and record we did, for like 3 hours straight. It was pretty successful and fun, but I think we'd get things done a lot quicker if we had a drummer.
Alas, I move onto the good part and that is the show. I went to...

Where to start... well this Friday I got to catch Clerks II which was very, very histerical, it was totally worth it. Though it didn\t proceed the original it was quite good anyway, I'd say there was a different approach to the directing style, the only issue I had with the film was it was kinda sappy, too much like a love story instead of...

I saw Clerks 2 this weekend also. I am happy to say it did not suck. I was a little worried to see it since it's a sequel to a 12 year old movie that I have loved for, well, 12 years, and from a director who, in my opinion, hadn't done anything worth seeing since 1999. You are totally right on with the different directing style. There were only a few moments in the movie where I thought, "I can tell just by the framing that this is Kevin Smith."

What kind of music does your band play?
dark_cabal:
Well, right now we have a sort of metal tone goin'. I guess if you'd like to compare we're kinda like Killswitch Engage, Unearth or Darkest Hour, but honestly we don't really have that define of a sound yet. All of us have different backgrounds when it comes to the style of music we like, but I say that in a good way. We don't have a drummer or a singer... yet, so it's just me on rhythm, one on lead and a bassist. I have a rough cut of one of our tracks, but I'm not really sure how to make it available here on the website. We're not about scenes or gimics, we just want to play metal, but nothing way out there like Cannibal Corpse or Dying Fetus. We'd like to bring back the kind of rock that people could jam to, while doing... well, anything I guess.

Last night I got to see A Scanner Darkly and let me tell you thats problably one of the most trippy movies of... well... the last few years. It pretty much depicts the future and the future of drugs. And when I think about it, the future really won't get any better. Its a neat movie as a whole because the whole movie was filmed like...

Clerks II was actually good, and so funny I almost peed my pants. I was deeply afraid that it would suck, and since i love the first one, that would have been crushing blackeyed

So I think I've decided that I like this picture better than the shitty one of me before. I was messing with Photoshop and my sweet Canon and this is the result. Perhaps I can get a decent picture of myself on here sometime, but I don't really like to see pictures of me or at least crappy ones. This is my Ibanez(RG series), it...

So I'm pretty sure everybody and their brother have already posted this, but last night I finally saw Pirates. It was quite enjoyable as a matter of fact I think it was as good as the first, but with slightly more violence. But can anybody else tell me if they sense a sort of Star Wars feel to it (the original ones). Hear me out,...

Well, I can now say that we've offically recorded our first song... my band, "the untilted three piece". In two days we managed to record "one" raw cut of our first song, currently titled "untitled first track". Hopefully by the end of next week we can also have recorded "untitled second track" and "untitled third track" as well. Thats it for this update.
P.S. I...

So a couple of days ago I brought in an old recliner somebody was throwing out (yes, I'm pretty poor), but when I got it into the house my room was soon covered by those littlte beetles that have the pinchers at the end. Upon futher investigation I discovered that they were practically nesting on the bottom of the chair.skull It was pretty gross and...

To whom it may concern,
Well, its official my band and I have written three songs... that may not sound like much, but we've been praticing like crazy and I'm pretty confident that we could add drum tracks now, its just that we don't really have a real drummer... yet. I'm hoping by August that we will be able to play shows or at least...
