We were talking about 'Round the Twist at work just this afternoon! And singing the theme song!
I didn't realise it at the time but Alana from The Girl From Tomorrow was my first ever girl crush. I had this realisation while reminiscing about kids shows with my flatmates one night in second year drama school. My flatmates hadn't heard of the show so I googled it for some pictures and realised the actor who played Alana was in my year in the acting course. It was rather strange.
Also 23 degrees is hardly warm! Try 40!
