It seems like the universe is agaisnt me, lately. I've been having problems with keeping track of my money, which invariably leads to me being broke by wednesday, needing gas, not having anything to eat, and down to six cigarettes. Now, just as I start getting back on track, something else gets fucked up.

I'm driving home last night, and out of no where.... I...

you're right about venue type stuff i think. i would think playing an arena would be a better gig than an outdoor fair type thing. i'm looking forward to everclear at city light? is that what it's called? ive never been to that joint.

Ugh.....

Had waaaay too much to drink last night. Feel like shit, today. Not really, I'm doing alright considering I only got an hour and a half of sleep, afterwards.

I think I am gonna see if Dirty wants to get the musical instruments together and jam. I feel like playing music this weekend, and not by myself. I play with myself (intentional) all the...

Things are good, today. I installed Half-life 2 last night and played for four hour until I finally went to bed. The biggest thing that sucks is that I had to connect my designated music computer to the internet to activate the cd-key. My biggest fear when I purchased this computer was that I didn't want it infected with spyware, thus sapping precious system resources....

Spyware is the new Microsoft. Or something. lol I wish I could get paid for the amount of time I have had to spend cleaning it from my system.

About Best Buy, they blow, never shop there. They are the rudest sons of bitches out there and they never honor their replacement warranties. I'd rather pay too much someplace else than support those ass goblins.

Hug, I feel your pain.

Goddamn steam. I am having a hell of a time installing halflife 2 because my comp that will run it is a no-internet computer.!!!!! DAMNIT!!!!!!

Update:
I have added a modem to my computer, and am about 70% of the way through the install... this game better be worth it.

So far the quit smoking initiative is taking decent effect. That is, until I start drinking alcohol. I knew it would be tough, and I faltered today. I had a handful of cigarettes tonight. I'm not wholly disappointed with myself, nor will I be about something so trivial. I just learn from tonight and take it another step the next time I need to.

What...

I used to be afraid. I used to fear that my father's side of the family was so rampant with alcoholics that I would be doomed to be one. I used to be afraid of monsters under my bed, waiting for me to turn out the lights, and walk close enough to my bed that they could grab my ankles, and drag me under to...

How very aggravating. I have been waiting for four years, and now I have to wait another week!!!!!

I guess it's my fault, though. I remembered incorrectly. Half-life 2 comes out next tuesday. Here I was all psyched to play the new Gordon Freeman adventure, and I'm just worked up for nothing. How very like love. Okay, now I'm just playing bitter. I guess I...

The Spirit of F.B. is alive once more. His story is mine to tell, and his will mine to control. I am the only one who knows it completely. Thus, I am the only one to tell it. His eyes are locked inside my brain, and when I close my eyes I know his pain. Months will pass, and his retelling will be complete. I...

False memory: that's a fair summary of quantum mnemonics, although I prefer the Occam's Razor approach to dj vu. I was wondering more about the line between fact and fiction, mythology and reality. If an experience stored in our memory causes our synapses to fire this way instead of that, should it make any difference whether said experience was 'real' or not?

'Evil' (I really dislike speaking in terms of good and evil, but as long as we maintain they are just convenient terms) certainly does prevail historically, but no more so than 'good' as far as I can tell. Most people also don't remember the names of any Roman soldiers who tortured and crucified Jesus. I think that's merely a condition of memory: we remember the big guys, not the little ones, regardless of which team they played for, because it's easier.

So NIN has a new album coming out, too, huh? Damn, I must be getting old or something. I feel all kindsa out of the loop.

I love the weekends. I got thoroughly inebriated this weekend. It was good times. I also love, possibly even more than the weekends themselves, sleeping in late. I woke up today at 1 o'clock. It's good stuff. I woke up to Tool's Hush. I set my Winamp list to play The Fragile by Nine Inch Nails, and all four Tool albums. It's good, good times....

There are two things that really suck about not having a working mode of transport.
1. I can't go pick up the new A Perfect Circle album.
2. I can't hang out with my new infatuation in the world of women. There's an absolutely beautiful girl that works at the coffee house. I really like her. She's cool and random. She asked me to smash...

I didn't know APC had a new album. Let me know how you like it. I liked the last two a lot.

Good luck with the coffee-house girl.

Creepy, open-ended feeling: yeah, that's good stuff.

Meh, a third party vote was wasted this year anyway.

Things are going much better the past couple of days. Despite my truck being down, I am still in a good mood. Funny thing is: I like being sans vehicle. I don't have to worry about gas, I have a ride to and from work, and I have a friend that's being amazingly awesome with taking me out when I want to go hang somewhere....

There was once a place in my soul that; even though my dreams were unfulfilled, this one little spot was. It made me feel whole, comforted me in times when I was down, and allowed me the ability to live without alteration of my own perception. That little place is gone, now. I don't feel empty, and life is losing its meaning. I wake up...

re; comic

i can't say there's much of a plot line. i guess my comic is more a bunch of one-liners than a tale.
