Waiting on Drake. Gonna get drunk and play video games. Haven't done that in a while. Sometimes it becomes vitally neccesary.

Went to a Tsunami relief benefit thingy tonight with a friend. It was alright. There was a really cool folk/polish-russian band there called Molehill Orchestra. Then some little puppet doo-bob. The odakai sonora, which is a taiko(sp?) drum group based in town. Last was...

I've been living in my head far too much these days. Not getting out of the house for any means other than work does that to me. I can't wait to get my w-2s in and get back on track, again. It's been a long month so far, and theres still more to go. By the end of it though, I'll be back where I...

As much as I want to see Futurama come back, I'd take Firefly in a heartbeat.
esther:
Poor fella. Sleep is good for you anyway, get more.

Did you hear about how they blurred out Peter's butt when he mooned on FOX the other night?

Awesome, Family Guy is coming back to FOX. It's about time those bastards did something right.
supergp:
No Firefly, though. So, they still suck.

I have retrieved a vital part of myself. It has been missing for quite some time, and I welcome it back.

Some guy tried to kill himself with my truck tonight as I was backing out of the safehouse parking lot. He got all pissed off at me, even though he started riding behind my truck, despite the fact that I was already backing up when he started riding behind me. He has the audacity to get mad at me and scream at me for almost...

Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks.

Pick it up. Read it. Be prepared.
thedarkness:
Don't worry, I am going to read it and am going to be prepared.
supergp:
Knowing my luck, I'd pick it up and be attacked by mummies.

FOOD IS EVIL!!! Why should we be damned to this existence which burdens us with the obligation to consume other organisms; flora and fauna? Why exactly is it that my body which houses an infinitely powerful mind should need the fuel of other beings to sustain its own existence? How symbiotic. There is talk about humans being the superior species because we can rationalize and...

Life goes slow. I want to exodus from my house, but my morals and stands keep me from doing so. It may only be one Guinness (mmm, guinness) but its more than 0% alcohol. I am a firm supporter of the seperation of truck and inebriated state.

I am frustrated by some things. Like the fact that my Dad can bitch about me not being...

Sorry that life has you down, dude. Here is something to take your mind of things-even if for a moment.

A Child's Prayer

One night, a father passed by his son's room and heard his son praying: "God bless Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma. Ta ta, Grandpa."
The father didn't quite know what this meant, but was glad his son was praying. The next morning, they found Grandpa dead on the floor of a heart attack. The father reassured himself that it was just a coincidence, but was still a bit spooked.

The next night, he heard his son praying again: "God bless Mommy and Daddy. Ta ta, Grandma."

The father was worried, but decided to wait until morning. Sure enough, the next morning Grandma was on the floor, dead of a heart attack.

Really scared now, the father decided to wait outside his son's door the next night. And sure enough, the boy started to pray: "God bless Mommy. Ta ta, Daddy."

Now the father was crapping his pants. He stayed up all night, and went to the doctor's early the next day to make sure his health was fine. When he finally came home, his wife was waiting on the porch. She said, "Thank God you're here -- we could really use your help! We found milkman dead on our porch this morning!"

Smile dude.
supergp:
Come now, is that really what you feel? Isn't life a miraculous thing?

Er, sorry, I was on a roll there.

Uh, how's about we tentatively schedule for Saturday.
I'm getting sick, though, apparently, so I might cancel. frown

Stones in water
raise the tide
steps in river
bide the time

calm by flow
through today
see it known
and never stay

lost in now
fading light
bring it down
end the flight

Mere pebbles in the pond. Monstours bubbles in my soul.

It's kinda heavy there at the start, you're alternating syllable structure.

But pretty good.

I've decided on new plans. Friday September 16th, I wan to get a bunch of peeps together for Talk like a pirate day. The day is observed on Sep.19th, but that's on a Monday. Plans are tentative right now. More information will be dispensed as the event nears. There is talk of requiring some form of pirate garb, so be prepared (this is your forewarning)...

The benefits are that they work with me for my schooling. They have what is called educational leave, where they pay me my hours that I am in school, they coincide with tmy work schedule. Meaning, if I start work at 1:00pm, and I don't get out of my class until 1:30 pm, they will pay me the time I get out of school until I get to work. Place wouldn't be so bad to work, if the administration did not sucked.

yay! i was so sad that i missed it last year
