plans are going well for the aussie trip. sent my passport application away today (yes, im lame, im 24 and dont have a passport)... and im racking up the overtime at work and working extra to get some days in lieu. my jobs cool, whether im rostered on or not, i get a day in lieu for every public holiday.. and cause i work 4 days on, four off.. all i have to do is take 4 days holiday to get 12 off... sweeeet

it went sour about 3 months ago and the timing was real bad cause she had no $$ and nowhere else to go since all her family is back in aus. i put my neck out and helped her with bills and let her stay in my place, but at the same time sacrificing my ability to get over her anytime soon. she 'moved on' (read - seeing other guys) quicker than me and it was real hard to deal with, particularly with her turning into a real nasty piece of work. my head wasnt in the right place and i took a lot of shit which is really uncharacteristic of me, but i never had the heart to boot her out for good.
i've just come to realise tho that theres nothing i can do to change her, and she'll have to learn her own lessons. shes only 19 and incredibly immature and selfish and flat out refuses to take any responsibility for her actions.
but hey, karmas a bitch and someones got a load coming to them.
anyhoo, enough of that. onto better things....
i cant make it over for new years anymore cause i switched jobs about 4 months ago and couldnt get any leave around new years... BUT im definately trying to plan something for late jan/early feb while the summer buzz is still in the air.
a really good friend of mine moved to sydney a couple months back so im gonna go stay with her for a week or whatever and then head up to brisbane/gold coast area where i've got another good mate. definately be keen to catch you up there for some mischief heheh.
i'm back on the site much more now so we'll talk more about it.

i think the ghost of a previous bowler overtook me because i really can't bowl. i've gone ten pin bowling before and by the end of the night my arm almost fell off. nobody told me about the smaller, girly sized bowling balls. i'd get up to bowl and pick up the ball, and just drop it because my sad wimpy little arms just couldn't take it anymore! but it is fun though. you've never been 5 pin bowling? hmmm... you just take it for granted sometimes that some things are the same worldwide. well, you come to canada and i'll take you 5 pin bowling. if you're used to 10 pin, you'll kick ass.
