a tough one. I can't pick one... Living Colour at Festival Hall in 1993 (i think - Stained tour) was fan-fucking-tastic! Then again, BDO 1993 or 1994 rocked my world too - smashing pumkins (kicked soo much ass live, siamese dream had just been released, and I was front row, centre, and scored a guitar pick) + breeders+ RAMONES + soundgarden...5,6,7,8's at the zoo last year was magic, as was BDO a few years ago with NIN and Foo Fighters.

did you make it to the BDO?? hope so man.. i had a mate who was there and he said it was wicked. i got a few good photos and a bit of video footage of slipnot and the beastie boys... i wish i had of taken my extra memory card cause it ran out sooner that i thought...

oh, the subject of old boy.. yes indeed.. intense film... its a korean one by a guy named chang sook park (watch out for this name!) abotu a guy who gets kidnapped and put into a cell (which is more like an apartment) and kept there with no reason and no contact with his captors.. he still has a tv and all kinds of things like that, and after hes been there for a year he finds out his wife has been murdered and he's the main suspect (the captors too a wine glass with his fingerprints while he was sleeping).. so this goes on for years, his incarceration with no idea who is holding him or why.. in the meantime he trains in martial arts and also goes a bit bonkers, then one day - about 10 years later he is suddenly released with no explanation... its now up to him to find out the why and the who and the how, etc... really interesting story with a lot of twists.. a couple of great fighting scenes.. the works! anyway, i'll bring it over with me and you can check it out for yourself....

anyways, down to business... i arrive in brisbane on the 2nd of Feb, some time in the late morning i think. not sure what my exact plan is, gotta talk to my friend who im staying with, but i'll be in the area until around the 7th or 8th before heading down to Sydney..

oh shit i just noticed you had american werewolf in london in yr movies... sweet. i saw that years ago when i was a teenager and thought it ruled, and i've just finished downloading it! might put that on as i fall to sleep...

i'll definately have to burn a few movies to dvd for you when i come over.. does yr pc have a dvd player? theyre all in .AVI format so i can fit 5-6 movies per disc...
