Sounds like you had a pretty ok weekend. And congrats on your D80 purchase. I have a D50 which I have been getting reacquainted with over the weekend. I started taking pictures of EVERYTHING!!!! Lol. I took several photography classes in college and loved it so much. Unfortunately now that digital photography is out and so popular, it makes processing your own film and pictures with film a think of the past--kind of like black and white photography vs. color almost. Now, it's almost unique to hear about someone processing things themselves. Whenever we move to a house that is capable of having a darkroom, I am planning on setting one up so I can do that. Of course I'll need to start stashing away some money because the enlarger is going to be one of the most expensive things. But it will be worth it.
So since you got a new camera, do that mean you are going to have more pictures in your blogs?

oh my motivation will only last so long for exercising. in fact i think i set myself back any progress i made after visiting the ice cream festival this festival this weekend. there is something about deep fried foods that just make you loose all control of yourself. but it was so worth it because it was quite tasty.
i've got more pictures of yummy things from the festival coming up in my next journal. so stay tuned. hee hee
Oh my gosh! That cupcake picture is so awesome. And because I am so weird, I notice the small details like the silver ball candies that are on some of them. That you aren't supposed to eat, but everyone does anyways. I love those things! I can't find them around anymore. Of course maybe I am not looking in the right places though. Oh well. It kind of looks like the cupcake has a piercing. LOL
