do you dream like that a lot? ever thought about trying to interpret them?

keep in mind that sometimes your mind is just entertaining itself while you sleep, but you pretty much know which dreams are the important ones.. I always do. try to pay attention to details like whether it was light or dark, if you were in a room, what was the mood of it.. a hospital operating room, for example, is cold, sterile and uncomfortable, whereas a friends cabin in the woods might be comforting, safe, a refuge.. if there is water, is it clean or muddy? emotional states are often indicated by season. look for prominent colors, moods, the reactions of others, and especially objects.

the dog, for example.. how do you feel about dogs to begin with? do you see them as loyal companions? or are you a little afraid? things in dreams that are 'alien' to you typically represent unacknowledged aspects of yourself; possibly a part of yourself that you're afraid to embrace. blood is an interesting one.. losing blood can symbolize losing life energy, or feeling drained. but it can also indicate power. it depends on how the blood is procured. a hand wound indicates your inability to figuratively 'grasp' things. maybe something you're overlooking. one other thing that's interesting is whether or not you recognize yourself as being wounded. you said your friends pointed it out to you in your dream.. not a lot to go on, but think about it ..
