Tomorrow morning I leave for my friend Faith's wedding. Faith and I went to Ohio State together and were roommates for two years. She is the person who gave me the gift subscription to the site for winter holidays (although she's no longer a site member). I'm going to be a bridesmaid. She only has 2 bridesmaids, me and her sister, which is super intimidating. I've never been in a wedding before.
I have to go to the Colombian place and get my hair fixed. I like going there because they only speak Spanish, so they can't lecture me about how I mangle my hair all the time, and if they do, I won't understand them. Although when I got my hair done in Chinatown, they brought an English speaking girl out from the back of the salon to lecture me.
"Please don't cut or dye your hair yourself," they always say, as if they are Hair Nazis, hell bent on depriving me of my personal freedom.
