I was not productive today because I stayed out of the kitchen, and caught up on the last 2 weeks of recorded shows that I wanted to watch. I have tv, and love it so. I WAS productive because I cleaned the bathroom, and then took a shower, and then took a really long hot bath. Now, I'm going to drink some tea, smoke some...

Glad you like our doggies. They all come to work at the store with us, usually the shepherd and the setter with my mom, the boxer and the husky/shepherd with my sister. Have been since the store opened 3 years ago. But since she got the boxer, he's become the most popular by far. People come to the store just to see him. That's why he gets the all-out celebrations at work. We always celebrate our dogs' b-days at home and everything. They usually get to split a Taco Bell taco for the special day. Of course they all get some, not just the birthday dog. I'm not sure how that tradition started, exactly, that Taco Bell food became the dog birthday treat.
Well, do you have any of your candles unclaimed at this very moment? What kind of prices are they? My sister's birthday is tomorrow, and she loves candles and bath things. Obviously they wouldn't be here by tomorrow, but if you have something for sale, I think she'd really like them, even if it's a late present. I could show her a picture! Let me know, ok?

The pair of honey ones would be a nice present for her birthday, I think... what is the cost of shipping these, and what kind of payments do you take? Paypal? If you just do payment by check, I'll probably wait and order for holiday stuff, since it would be really late by the time I could send a check and have it clear/have the candles mail.
However it'll work out... thanks for getting back to me about it!

I had brief moments of motivation today... it was enough to get the kitchen cleaned, and a start on setting up the candle works for the season. I will now live in a small, cramped apartment kitchen that is covered in newspaper and wax for several months maybe? I can't wait to someday have a workshop area I can do this in... a huge room...

Today is such a blah day. I have so much to do, and all I want to do is snuggle back up in bed and sleep all day. Life is short... and I want to sleep.

She isn't getting better. I think she has almost constantly had health problems since we rescued her. First it was the abcess from being attacked. That cleared up and she was fine for about two weeks or so, and then stopped eating and playing, went blind in one eye, had a stroke or seizure of some sort, and is just getting skinnier and skinnier.
She is going into the vets today once again. Poor thing. Deke is still very adamant that she is going to get better, but I think I have lost hope already. *sad* It is horrible to watch her suffer, even though she does have a few happy moments each day when we hold her in our laps and she can just chill out without being force-fed or given meds. I really don't know what to do for her anymore, though. If her existance is just going to be force-feedings and medication times between the sleep of the starving and exhausted, that is just cruel.

Yay! Today I got a gigantic chocolate cake, a gigantic bunch of 2 dozen roses, and a gigantic potted bromeliad! All such fabulous gigantic things!

Happy birthday

and I must have been tired last night, because I just realized that turning 30 is not entering my 3rd decade, that it would be my 4th. hmph.
I'm still totally ok with it.
Um, I'm also updating my wishlist just in case anyone wanted to wish me a really happy 30th

Oooh, birthdays! 'Tis the season.
Is it true thatvet techs make shit? Why is that? I'm at the vet all the time and the vets do all the hard work.
