A friend and I had a good night with his telescope. We checked out the Moon and Jupiter (we saw 3 of it's moons). Then I found Albiero the double star and Tim found The Andromeda Galaxy. Not bad for two Astronomy greenhorns.

I went to the Chamberlain Observatory open house and saw the Andromeda Galaxy, Uranus, Albiero double star (one gold one blue) & Jupiter (with the moons Io, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto in view).
