The hang over when I woke up this morning was only bad enough to be extremely annoying. I didn't go to bed until 5:30 and a friend of mine who was completely hammered crashed in my room. We fell asleep to the first season of Scrubs and talked about having a girl's weekend. We'll go to Sephora, eat junk food, and watch movies. This has... Read More
See the thing is I stopped eating beef for like 2 years and Im just now slowly eating it again, so there were like 2 or 3 times I went there in that time period.
Well see I loved beef to, a little to much at the time, for me I just needed to take a brake from it, I ate it to much, I just needed to clines my soul and body, I know that probable doesnt make much sense to you, but it was something I needed to do. Wendys does have pretty good burgers, I ate them almost ever day for like a year, never had a Culvers anything, I see the place but never have been there.
Happy Friday the Thirteenth. For those of you who haven't already, go look at Lainey's and Joleigh's new multi! Camp Crystal Lake It's amazing!
Tomorrow I am getting really dolled up and then drinking until I pass out. I'm wearing a Hustler shirt that says "Relax! It's just sex!" on the back of it in celebration of Legal Prostitution day. You give people... Read More

I love the rain. My window is open and I will soon be in bed reading case studies for my abnormal psychology class. The rain could not have come at any better time. It always knows when I need it.
Dunno, I think dancing in the rain here would be a lot of fun. When it does rain, you *really* feel like dancing. The first rain of the monsoon last year we all ran outside, and people in all the nearby houses ran out too. It was like a little spontaneous mini-festival. I didn't dance, but I thought about it. Mostly we just stood around watching it fall and waiting for the inevitable rainbow.

I'm fine--the usual midlife mental anguish aside! The book is out and in stores anyway. My son is teething, so he's been a little crankier than usual, although he's still an angel by any objective measure.
I admire you for taking Greek--that's the true definition of a liberal education, too many students get too narrowly focused on what they're going to use in their career, which is understandable, but a real missed opportunity. So are you a psych major? (Did I already ask you that? )
Good reason to take Greek; it is a foundation for so many Western languages and teaches us how subtle meanings can be expressed in words. it's sooo damn tedious at times, but it's definitely one of those things I'm glad I labored through, putting tea bags in my coffee to get through the night and the homework. And it opened the door to my lifelong interest in how the mind shapes meanings and how culture/language affects that process. Hence my study of Chinese and knowledge of Sanskrit and so forth--it helps in my work as a counselor/astrologer!
and as Seriphos sez, Gk is a true definition of liberal education! agreed
and it's got the best damn book which was ever writ in any language that I know for truly pure philosophy: the Enneads of Plotinus. I do love and respect many other works from around the world, but for unadorned beauty similar to the best of Classic Greek architecture you can't do better than Mr P!
so good luck with the schedule and best wishes in getting the language digested!
I saw a flyer earlier this week on the tables at lunch and dinner titled "Nonviolent Sexuality. Make peace with your private parts." Needless to say, I was intrigued. I went last night with some of my fraternity friends. It was a very interesting talk. The usual "No means no and you can't use being drunk as an... Read More
SG is sooo different to main stream porn and i thank it for that... it's stylish, lovely and very sexy and different..
these sexual debates always tend to go to the samen end... in our country the christian parties are getting more uptight at the moment ... proposing all kinds of laws for restriction etc... and we have such a free country now...
i'm really glad SG is so different, cause I wouldn't want it any other way. and the uniqueness of the site and the people on the site is why I've been a member for over 6 years now. i love this fuckin site!!!
It's snowing again. I went to Denny's with a friend for the free grand slam breakfast. I made my friend drive my car back. She's from the country so she's used to driving on the back country roads covered in snow and ice. We all know that Ohio people cannot drive in the snow, rain, or any kind of weather conditions at all. Hey, it's... Read More
Two snow days for me! I'm a happy girl. Although I missed my evening class yesterday, which blows because we only meet once a week and this will set us back a lot. It's abnormal psychology so it's really interesting. It's also the class I had my test in. So no I did not have the test. I am guessing we will have it next... Read More
So the campus closed today due to the ice and snow. Of course I had already had my one class of the day so it is just a normal day for me. Go figure. Snow and I do not get along and I believe it did this just to spite me. It's an asshole like that. Instead it has proved to be an inconvenience because... Read More
We actually got a decent snow storm here. It sucked. But it's pretty. Then again, this is nothing compared to what I am used to. It's one of the perks baout moving 300 miles south....much less snow. Plus where I went to school was near Lake Michigan and that would cause tons more snow. So, it's not so bad for me. But I do have a ten block walk to and from work in this shit. Lame.
I'm sick. Tuesday I had to leave class twice to throw up. I thought I was just hung over until that happend. The second time I left class I missed the end so I emailed my teacher and told him I was sick and I apologized for disrupting class and missing the end. He thanked me for not "hurling in class." Wednesday I felt fine... Read More
