I feel empty, yet full.

AI's in their current form don't self-evolve.

My philosophy does not introduce any ideas that are non-plausible and I've yet to come across a plausible arguement for self-programming AI's which doesn't not involve a miracle at some step.

Thus AI adaptation is limited by the programmer of the AI.

Ofcource the same holds for humans to a degree, we are just vastly more complex then contemporary AI.

You cannot prove that animals hope for things since they cannot speak. And I don't know if bugs hope, to be honest.

Plus AI's don't hope. They merely make decisions.

When it becomes obvious to everyone that AI's are alive then your definition will break down.

I might be wrong, but I beleive I understand modern AI's and the future of computing enough that I'd say the chance I'm right is rather high.

Remind me to prove to you sometime that future AI's can make decisions in order to sustain their lifes, have sex with other AI's, and reproduce (A-sexually or otherwise) without a trace of hope.
