For the first time in a long time . . . we might actually have a few days without rain. The normal Summer pattern here, is rain and/or thunderstorms, every day. And when it's not raining . . . it's hot as hell and humid! Ugh!

Well, the septum removal was not my choice. Long story short...I was in the hospital with breathing tubes shoved up my nose and the ER docs took it out.
The nipples...I had them since I was nineteen and about 1 1/2 years ago I just wanted a change.
I still have my tongue pierced twice. I want a marilyn really bad, but that would not go over at work. And for right now paying the rent and feeding myself is more important. (the septum just flips up inside)
It would be great if I could find a cool job that I could make as much in as I do now and look how I want, but that is probably asking for way too much.

I currently work as an executive assistant/office manager directly supporting the V.P. / General Manager. In my last job I was an HR Generalist in addition to supporting the 6 owners of the company. I have been doing this type of work for over 8 years now.
It would be great if I could this same type of work for an alternative mag or production company, or something dealing with artists, or even a gig supporting the running of a club or bar. But I make too much money for most of the places that dont care what I look like.
The boy would like me to get the nipples re-pierced, but I havent decided if I want to or not. For now, Im just happy to have my septum redone.

I would rather not say what's stressing me online, or over email, but I guess nobody's looking here unless they're subscribed...amante is being accused of sexual harassment, and a couple other things that are more than a year old. It's all over the press, and the radio, the mother is withholding the kids, and her lawyer is trying to use the bad press as a weapon in the divorce. The thing is, all the accusations are bullshit, but once it's in the press, you're screwed. We will have to leave. He could be fired, although the district is on his side. It's a bunch of parents with issues. I'm so disturbed by the thoughtlessness of some people.

Contractors! Gotta love 'em! The company I hired to re-roof my house, had their license yanked by the State of Florida, closed their office, disconnected their phone, and rode off into the sunset!

Funny... was JUST chatting with IKCSmiley about Asheville. I was a bit jaded on it for a reason that is entirely too long, complicated, and stupid. But, it's also been maybe ten years since I've been. I would like someplace that has that mixture of lifestyles, a bit of affordability, and excellent public transportation. It's usually that last one that kills a place for me. I don't foresee ever owning a car again and I want to make sure I can get around.
Do you know there's a Mellow Mushroom in Orlando... it's a franchise, now. How oxymoronish, don't you think? (By the way, I know I may sometimes come across as sounding illiterate, but I would like to think that as long as I have a good understanding of the English language, I am allowed to make up words as I see fit to fulfill my intended meaning).
My "dread" fell out by mid-day... I need to think this through a bit harder.

As for staying over Friday nightIm staying at my parents house and the less time there the better. I havent actually been to their house in like 5 years.
