My computer power adapter broke, and since I'm currently borrowing Kea's computer, I can't post the pictures I want to. Maybe in a few weeks.
Anyway, things are good for me. Things change, and I'm trying my best to like it. There are many positive things in my life, and my friends who have been there for me are right at the top of the... Read More

Argh, the pill, eh? With my fella in Ireland until Feb, I went off it. But I know what it's like. Just take it easy on yourself and smile through the teariness. You'll come good again!
I'm systematically replacing absent food with cigarettes, this is hopefully a short term thing.

I'm drinking tea, wishing I was anywhere but here.
I GOT FLOWERS! What a lovely way to arrive home <3 xxx
Five days in Sydney and I feel like I could conquer the world.
Virgin Blue have a fantastic attitude. The instructions on the overhead announcements were hilarious!
On my trip from Brisbane to Sydney I heard the following:
"Be sure to remove all baggage, and small children from the overhead lockers,"
"Mark will... Read More
I'm pretty sure Dah and I are going to the local footy grand final with my Dad.. but it started 15 minutes ago, and I'm still nude on my bed, and Dah isn't home.. so hmmm.
I was very warm, a moment ago. Though it's all been sucked away now, into the room. I moved too far from my blanket and the warmth was swept upwards. I found a jumper on the floor and put it on, stringing my iPod through the neck-hole as I pulled it down over my body.
I had a nice day today. There were Mary-Janes in... Read More
I saw him play twice. Once in May '95 in San Francisco, then in Feb '96 in Melbourne. If you have the live CD (Mystery White Boy) I'm in the audience for about half the disc. Several songs from Melbourne and one from SF are featured.
Since then, to cut a long story short, I've become friends with a friend of Jeff's from the Columbia Grace days (she's on my Myspazz, and I last saw her when she was out here on the Carole King tour). I've also talked with Jeff's mother a few times. Like I said, it's a long story.
I had a great time at Rook's birthday gathering last night, I saw some new faces and old. And I swear to god, I will never get sick of that 'Things' game..
HAPPY BIRTHDAY THIS WEEK TO:
Sway, the young and beautiful, Rook, the masculine and incandescent & Goldfish, the small and somewhat confused.
This is not intended to compare the battle between the genders, whether one deserves more attention that the other. This is outlined separately to represent both data correctly.
Behind ever statistic there is a victim, regardless of gender or age.
This is what I'm learning today. Outlined, for your interest.
Just based on my observations and what I've learned kind of in relation to that (writing something sort of off, but still on that topic) more than anything else seems to be that yes male violence is more prevalent and probably more common, but I don't know whether its a purely a genetic thing, but I think based on what I've seen percentage wise less men will report violence against them. I've wondered whether a lot of this has to do with the way we're raised, and the way society seems to construct itself and roles that our genders are meant to play. I've known people in most positions in this situation.
I do agree there are definitely differences in why they wouldn't report violence against them, and personally I could understand how someone could get to the stage they believe that someone could take away their children.
Thanks for the well wishes for my mom, it's very appreciated. And yes Quinne is quite wonderful, and a good friend to me, she's always so great to visit with, but my son and her are like even better friends, hee hee, he's 3.
My back hurts. I did some of the exercises that my old chiropractor prescribed ages ago. And then some that another chiropractor prescribed slightly less ages ago, and it seemed to make it feel better. I would like to run for forty minutes every morning, go to the gym in the afternoon, then do those exercises each night. But, I'd prefer to play computer and... Read More
