Melbourne was fucking awesome. For a holiday. The people, the places, the temperature, I loved it.
But I also love home.
I seriously wasn't back in the Valley for five minutes before a cute young fag came up to me offering a cigarette yabbering about how he'd pashed his ex-boyfriend tonight and felt weird about it
John Howard loses the Bennelong seat; Kevin Rudd welcomed as Australia's new Prime Minister.
I was sitting in a lounge room next to a journalist wearing a Kevin07 shirt when the news hit home. We waited while Johnny said his last rights and finally left the stage, as much a deceptive c'nt as an accomplished man. Kevin Rudd floated on to accept his title, moving... Read More
Awww, I totally missed you as soon as I was in the lobby!
I was all, damnit, I wish I could stay longer! But then I figured you were leaving for Brissy that evening anyway, so yeah, we shall meet again! In January for my birthday!
I'm two steps closer to appealing a centrelink debt, I cashed my tax check, am a few steps closer to organising my 07/08 new years at Woodford, ran into my best friend on a crossing and had a non-coffee. I suppose people do make me happy
I know! I always scoffed at the Buffy fans I knew, and now, I'm eating my words.
However, I'm willing to put it down to evolution as a person. I still stand by my decision not to have seen it before now.
But, It's awesome. Like, really. Which, still surprises me.
But come on.. tell me you thought the puppet/doll thing looked like Nick Cave. Don't cha think?
The ghost tour is at the Fremantle Prison in Perth!
I'm keen to see a few movies, but none of them are showing until late this year or early next year. Well, I lie a little. I'd love to see Breakfast at Tiffany's, but alas, I'm in Perth that night.
Love this idea - I do, I do.
What kinda of movies do you like?
I hope loneliness doesn't fill your Monday and that big, beautiful smiles are a plenty.
Yep, so I haven't really done anything of value in my life. I've been hovering around the Northern Rivers and Brisbane my entire life. I'm only 22, so that's apparently fine and blah fucking blah. I want to have experience under my belt. The 21 year old staying in the room next me has travelled. I've lived on a boat, yeah that's great. It was... Read More
heh I am 27 and haven't really travelled yet, luckily I have met someone who wants much of the same things in life that I do, travel and experience being a big part of that.. so once done with the uni stuff we can start working towards what we want to do... set yourself a goal and go after it...I know everyone says it but once you get serious it really works.
I'm off work today, my body is burning. I feel like I've been beaten up. Every part of me aches and for some reason I've decided not to take pain killers. Actually, fuck that, I'm going to find some.
Ok, that's either going to make things a lot better, or I have something serious.
This weekend has been amazing; things that I've needed were given to me, and the company I've kept has been better than wonderful.
A party on Friday night allowed me to meet a very interesting new friend, and catch up with sorely missed old ones. I was awake until 12 midday the next day, blissful and walking on air.
I'm a romantic and a troubadour with my heart in the country and my lifestyle in the city. I have a nack for being allowed into people's personal lives. Housemates will fall in love with me, Australia will fall in love with me.
I just wrote a 1061 word synopsis of my up-coming 50'000 word writing piece. It took me half an hour to decide on the genre of writing it would be, twenty seconds to decide a title, after three attempts, and then fifty minutes to produce the first 1061 words.
Title: I Love.
Subject Matter: Me.

good luck with the study buddy...again
