We floated the river (all us siblings, and then partied at grandma's all day/night).....it was a great time!!!!!

When we started to go to central Oregon, we lived in Portland. A few years later, when we started to go to Black Butte Ranch for two weeks every summer, we were in Seattle. Six hour drive.

I have not been back since around 1987. My parents still go to visit friends every once in a while, but vacations are now in Cabo San Lucas, since we have a house there.

It was always nice to get out of the rain in Seattle for the beautiful weather in central Oregon in summer. Black Butte Ranch is full now, no more property left. When we started going there, though, it was not even half full.

So.........I got a call yesterday with a KICK ASS job offer!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!


All the bad news that came with it:

The job doesn't start till July 16th!!

The place that I have to train is a 45 minute commute (one way) and I have to go there for 4 weeks.

so......thursday afternoon, within 10 minutes of each other.....I got three calls for three different interviews....then another one called yesterday......so here's what's on the table:

Friday - interviewed with a beer distribution place as their administrative assistant
Tomorrow - interview with a property management place to be a receptionist

Ok...interview went REALLY good.....better than expected....now we are just waiting on a few things...should (hopefully) know by monday.....please be thinking good thoughts my way......I've never not had a job before and I am literally scared shitless!!!!!!!
