Ive had the apartment to myself since Monday. Much like a certain brand of fast food, Im loving it.
Had a long, hard day of loitering with SQUISHYLIZARDS. It was, 106 degrees out.
Soylent Green is going to be playing at this out door thingy on the 24th. Ill have too go see it.
I think might go hiking in a few days, if the weather cools back down to the double digits.

The best thing about Infinite Jest? It's fractally interesting. Which is to say that you can take any piece of the book (open randomly to any section), read it in isolation from the rest of the book, and it is as interesting as the book as a whole. Which essentially means that once you've read the book once, you can read it again in any order you want.
Ughn, Ive been playing video games more than I ought to. None of the stuff in my life that needs resolving has been resolved. But hey, I made it to level 20! That should count for something. I mean, besides how may skill points I need to distribute.

I rather liked level twenty. It wasn't quite as good as level nineteen (which was the best level yet), but very enjoyable. Hope you're having fun.
The absurdist elements of Joe Vs. The Volcano were very appealing. It's that the film ultimately was a tepid romance that I object to. I suppose you could say I felt that it was wasteful in that regard; a wonderfully quirky world is set up and then not put to any real use.

JvtV was an awesome film, but yeah, I agree that it sucked that it wound up being just another cheesy comedic romance film. The concept was pretty good, though.

When i was your age, about 15 days from now, i felt much the same way - overwhelmed. Trying to balance school and the working world can be a very difficult proposition. And i have no doubt there is also a Special Someone on the way for you as well, adding yet another diversion to your already wayward existence.
It's important to remember your priorities during these times of life, just like i will have, 15 days in the future. That's really what will have gotten me through that period of my life. You must hold firm to your misconceived notions of what is important in life.
It's true that, in the end, there is no hope. BUT, you're young, much the same as i will be in just a few short weeks. Enjoy your ill-fated life while you can! Drink deep of the mysteries of the universe, before you realize that you look like an idiot in that hat.

One time, when i was five, i was at my best friend's birthday party, and we were all watching The Neverending Story. Somehow he managed to get ahold of one of those cakes that looked like that dog-dragon thing from the movie, but that's besides the point. He had a Nintendo, and I didn't. I mean, those days, that was all there was. And those other whatchamacallits, Ataris. We all wore silly hats. But, i digress. The point, Coliwali, the point is, everyone was walking backwards and talking in this weird demonic voice. For the whole entire party. Even the girls. Also, i was in my underwear.
Sometimes it's the little things that make all the difference.
