Still kind of recovering from the weekend... my head is in a bit of a fog today.
This weekend was... I guess the best description is, interesting and frustrating. I'm going to spoiler this because it's actually quite lengthy and mostly for me to lay it all out to maybe look at it from another angle.

Lost a round to insomnia last night. I mean I normally don't sleep well, but this was FAR different. One of those nights where the brain wouldn't shut down, triggering emtional responses, and keeping me up. I'm feeling a little run down from it today, so hopefully I'll have no trouble come bedtime tonight.
Back from my first pre-season game. I forgot how tiring it is to go straight from one job to another, but at least the game was entertaining. These new rookies are really trying hard to get themselved noticed and hopefully be bumped into the pros.

A few things have been going on at work this week that have put me into introspective mode. Just some things said, some things done that made me question how people actually view me. First, it looks like I might be working with the hockey team again this season. I got an email from one of the assistant coaches asking if I was going to come back. Now it's just the waiting game for the final confirmation and telling me the first day they want me to start.
Yeah - we went back to the fireworks but I was so pissed off by that point that I didn't even really pay attention to them. We could have hung out longer if I had known she was THAT stupid Oh well - I am sure you had enough of me for one day
