Ok... my brother totally rocks!!! He has come across the problem I had before and told me how to get rid of it. Of course he does do this for a living after all. But he told me it was a malware problem and directed me to a website for a free download that can take care of it.
Looks like I need to rebuild my computer's operating system. I'm lucky I even made it this far online right now. I have to wait until I go into work tomorrow to do it though since most of the programs I need are there.
This whole week as been insanely busy at the office. Mostly because our part-time employees are students and they have finals this week. So the boss is freaking out about all the work not getting done.
I have enough to do without more stuff being added to my plate.

I feel you on this one, I seriously doubt that we're going to be given free reign on New Years, who would trust a bunch of drunken Marines (and sailors) to not get into some kind of trouble out in town. I'm going to expect to be restricted to base during this time and I'd be really surprised if they don't.
We'll have to figure out some kind of social get together between everyone once I'm back, maybe we'll do a thing at the new house or something.
