a lot has been said the last few days about the 6/6/06 date. I hate to argue Bible stuff cuz someone's gonna ask me for corroboration or fact-checking and... dude, it's ME. I'm not a theologian... BUT okay, I found a link to the article, put it down below.
As some of you might know, the Bible's been translated many times, in many languages, and gotten changed along the way, sometimes erroneously. I read in the DC City Paper last year about The Number Of The Beast (the digits, not the 'Maiden album), and they said the actual translation shoulda been 616. The paper was discussing the number because (TRUE STORY) one of the beefs between LaVar Arrington and the Washington Redskins was that LaVar wanted to raise some part of his salary because the number had 3 6s in a row, so naturally he felt it anti-Christian and wanted the amount raised (not lowered). Here's a link to the story. The "616" part is at the end. So it seems last Thursday was actually the devil day, and it turned out pretty great for me. Today, eh... it's okay. I got my compy fixed, so that's kinda nice. I just feel a bit ragged out from having booze and a sleeping pill last night (in low doses, don't worry).
