Man, I do love dark, depressing stories. But there was a while where I was watching nothing but films like "Love Liza", "Midnight Cowboy", "Last Picture Show", and "Talk To Her", etc, and I started to realize that my whole general outlook on things had changged. I had become suddenly a lot more cynical than my normal, idealistic self. I had to switch to Adam Sandelr movies, just to keep my sanity.

Glad to hear you'll be watching the Carnivale....though I do recommend watching the first season before the second starts. It could thoroughly confuse you. If you've got HBO and or HBO2 they've been replaying them at different times...so you could probably catch most of them that way...if not....you could always go out and buy the boxset that just came out yesterday. But it is pretty pricey. We have it at $99.99 though BestBeast-I mean-BestBuy has it for $79.99. And holy shit...I just checked, Target has it for $74.99, and Walmart for $69.88!!!!!!!!! Sucks for us. Sorry...I'll get off my pricing tangent....anyway....it is an awesome show...and I also recommend sitting down with a dictionary of symbol's in between episodes to help guide you into thinking in the right direction. (That's what I did)....and I'm determined to figure out this puzzle before the rest of the world does. I'm awful like that. I love puzzles way too much. Ever since I was a kid...I loved word/mind puzzles...I would spend all day doing just that in class-they tested me in like, 2nd grade, and decided I was 'gifted' so I got to go to the 'gifted' class on Monday's instead of regular class, and that's all I did when I was there...well, that and color coding patterns out of the Fibonacci Sequence and learning about ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian gods and culture. Man I loved those days.........Carnivale right. Yeah. Watch. It's cool. It'll make your brain hurt....in a good way. I'll shut up now.
